Terrestrial navigation
Loxodrome is a curve on the surface of the Earth which cuts all the meridians at the same angle.
Electronic navigation
RADAR (Radio Detection And Ranging) is a device that serves to detect objects and measure their distance with radio waves.
Celestial navigation
Methods of astronomical navigation are an assemblage of mathematical principles which, by following the regular position changes of celestial bodies, enable orientation on the open sea.
